Festival of Discovery

Join us for the Festival of Discovery

Join us on one of our campuses for a fortnight of events with a wide range of opportunities for you to discover more about what your University and its community has to offer.

The Festival of Discovery will provide you with a chance to re-engage with your study through an academic programme of activities and we’ll be working closely with the Students' Guild and the Falmouth and Exeter Students’ Union to provide a variety of social events offering something for everyone.

24 May – 4 June 2021

Take part in experiential learning, hear from inspirational speakers, enhance your employability, find out about careers, learn more about health and wellbeing, listen to music, try new food, be entertained, compete in sporting events, join a society or simply take part in something new.

The Students’ Guild will be using the Festival of Discovery to launch a pilot of their 'Give it a Go' initiative. Give it a Go is your chance to try everything the Students' Guild has on offer. Whether you want to try a new hobby or meet new people, they'll have lots of activities for you to get involved in.

All the events will take place on one of our campuses in Exeter and Cornwall and we’ll be working hard to keep you safe throughout the events by operating an events booking system and ensuring we adhere to the latest Government guidance on COVID-security.

A full schedule of bookable events will be available soon on our website and we’ll let you know when it’s ready.  For many events booking will be essential.

The Festival of Discovery is subject to the latest Government regulations and guidelines relating to COVID-19 and our first priority is keeping all our students and staff safe whilst on campus.  Should Government regulations or guidance change, meaning it is not possible for the Festival of Discovery to go ahead, we will advise you as soon as possible...
