Impact and Partnership Development Manager - Sustainability and Earth Resources (maternity leave)


Alison’s role is to:

  • support impact development
  • facilitate collaborations with industry and government organisations
  • manage relationships with key partners including corporate partners
  • deliver other forms of income from businesses and other external partners, including regional funding.

Alison works closely with the Camborne School of Mines.


Alison has previous experience from the environmental sector where she has worked in the charity sector as well as within the private sector.

As an environmental consultant she specialised in waste prevention, sustainable consumption and production, sustainable materials management, product re-use, waste services procurement, waste and resource strategy and policy research. Alongside her consultancy role, she sat on the Company Executive which enabled her to lead several areas of day-to-day company operations.

Following this, she worked as a business consultant to a design-based start-up company before starting her role at the University in September 2016.
