Senior Impact and Partnership Development Manager - Environment, Sustainability and Food Security

Beccy leads the Environment, Food Security and Sustainability theme within Innovation, Impact and Business. The team supports impact development, research and innovation collaborations involving external partners, broader partnership development and income generation across the University.
In addition to overseeing the broader Environment team, she is personally responsible for Environmental Futures and Climate Policy, and Earth System Modelling sub-themes.
Beccy joined the University in 2016. Prior to this she spent six years at Met Office working in a variety of roles; most recently as Head Emerging Markets where she worked with a number of industries including Insurance, Agriculture, Water, Retail and Building and Construction. Prior to the Met Office, Beccy worked as an Investment Analyst in the Investment Management sector.
Beccy’s experience ranges across the public and private sector, and from small to large-scale projects involving involving partners in the UK and internationally. All of Beccy's experience has taken place at the interface of science, research, innovation and business.
Beccy has a PhD Applied Mathematics, and a BSc Mathematics and physics, both from the University of Exeter.
