Our Equality groups facilitate the implementation of the recommended actions and ensure that Equality and Inclusion is a priority at the highest levels at the University. More specifically our Equality groups:
- Monitor the overall Disability/Gender/Race/Sexual Orientation Equality Action Plan and get progress updates from the respective SAT and taskforce when it meets, termly.
- Function as a strategic forum which will shape plans and policies for long-term, strategic change.
- Report to the University Inclusion Group
- Will aim to be made up of 50% Academic and 50% Professional Services Staff
- Will be chaired by a member of VCEG
