Description - summary of the module content

Module description

For organisations to achieve their objectives effectively and efficiently requires the involvement of managers who are responsible for planning, organising, leading and controlling the human and other resources. This module introduces and explains the main business functions and considers the contribution made by theories to the practice of management. The module utilises a range of current business case studies so that concepts and theories explored during this module can be applied to actual businesses and current management and leadership news.

For this module there is neither a requirement for prior knowledge of management, nor pre-requisites or co-requisites.
