| Emma Sweeney has a background in finance and business, working for eight years in banking and commodities before moving into education. She has travelled extensively in Latin America, Asia and Australasia, and taught Business English in Bolivia and Spain. More recently, as a lecturer at Birkbeck College, University of London, she taught Language and Intercultural Communication on the MA in Intercultural Communication for Business. She retains a keen interest in intercultural communication, in particular the way English is used as an international language for business |
