Applying for a replacement BRP in the UK
Most students will need to apply for a replacement BRP within 3 months of reporting the loss or theft. We will help you with the application. The replacement BRP application is online. You will then need to attend an appointment at a UK Visa and Citizenship Application (UKVCAS) centre to enrol your biometrics.
You can apply using:
- Standard service which costs £75.20*. It will then take approximately 8 weeks from the date of your online application to receive your new BRP card.
- Super Priority Service which costs £875.20*. You can expect to receive your BRP card within 7 working days from the date of your appointment.
*There may be additional charges for appointments at some application centres or at specific times. Appointments in Exeter city centre cost between £70 - £135.
Before your appointment with International Student Support**, you will need to start the online application form. Use our guide below to help you answer some of the questions. Stop when instructed. Do not pay until your form has been checked by an adviser during your appointment.
You will need to prepare and bring with you to your appointment:
- Your passport
- Credit/debit bank card to pay the application fee
- Log in details and passwords for your online application
