Project Management New for 2022

Project Management is the application of knowledge, tools, skills and techniques to project activities in order to reach the requirements of the project. This can be accomplished by applying and integrating the project processes to execute projects effectively and efficiently. This module is designed to give you an understanding of how the projects create values and benefits for the organizations and societies through the project management theories and industrial case studies. In today’s economical environments with rapidly changing technologies, organisations’ leaders should manage the projects with tighter budgets, shorter time scale or lack of resources. Therefore, an understanding of the importance of project management helps to analyse the possible failure mechanisms and how regular monitoring and controlling can help to achieve the project objectives successfully.

We will explore these topics with different lectures, workshops, seminars, and group activities led by professional project managers to show you how to start the project, manage its integration, communicate with the stakeholders, and deliver the project's objectives successfully in different sectors; construction, manufacturing, biotechnology, oil and gas, IT, renewables and other major or minor industries.
