U Drive error message or blank desktop

Exeter IT are aware that some users on campus may be experiencing an error message when accessing their U drive or desktop files.  Please restart your device or continue to try refreshing your desktop, eventually your U drive should be restored. If you continue to see issues, please contact the IT Helpdesk.

SID not permitting file uploads

There is currently an issue with SID not allowing files to be attached to enquiries while updating the enquiry. This has been escalated to the supplier and we are awaiting resolution/further information from them.

Windows 7 and OneDrive Client errors

If you are experiencing the issue with OneDrive client on a Windows 7 device where OneDrive will not sign in and keeps giving the error message 0x8004de40. Exeter IT have deployed a fix which you can install from the Software Center on your device titled: OneDrive for Windows 7 Sign-in Fix 51044.

Please run this fix to repair this issue.
