Externally-funded Fellowship Applications

Research Technician: Coelho lab

The MRC CMM seeks to appoint a part time Research Technician with proven experimental skills in fluorescence microscopy, tissue culture/and or physiology, molecular biology, and, to carry out biomedical laboratory research. The post will require developing new imaging approaches and pipelines, tissue culture, animal work, and molecular biology techniques to analyse the host-pathogen interactions of the human pathogen Cryptococcus neoformans. Capacity to handle and work with mice is essential. Closing date

Licenced Animal Technician

The MRC CMM wishes to recruit a full time, experienced Animal Technician (rodents) to work with academic and technical staff in the University’s rodent Biological Services Units (BSU). Role holder will be part of both the MRC CMM and BSU teams whose primary function will be in supporting the operational needs of a multitude of research projects in the MRC CMM, including the day-to-day husbandry of the animals. The post is available immediately on a permanent basis. Closing date: 01/07/2021.
