Nominations are now open for the Alumni Volunteer Awards 2019

Is there an alumnus/a that you would like to see recognised for their fantastic support or who deserves an extra special thank you?

We will be recognising alumni in two categories:

Debbie Hill Award for exceptional support of students - this could be in the form of career mentoring for students, taking part in mock interviews, giving a careers or course specific talk to students, supporting a Guild society activity etc.

Nicholas Bull Award for exceptional support of the alumni community - this could be alumni that organise events and activities for fellow alumni, work on alumni committees, etc.

Nominating is quick and easy and staff are encouraged to get involved. Simply complete the short nomination form online, telling us who you would like to nominate and why you think they deserve the award (in no more than 150 words). All nominees receive a congratulatory email from us, letting them know they have been nominated. Shortlisted nominees and winners will be celebrated publicly and receive letters/prizes from the University.

Find out more information online and read what last year’s winners said on receiving their awards. Nominations close in March.

Date: 21 January 2019
