An experienced local government senior officer specialising in economic development, inward investment, employment and skills. Leading role in the development and implementation of a variety of economic development projects to improve productivity, facilitate sustainable and inclusive growth and create higher value jobs. Working on strategic public and private sector partnerships and key employer engagement. Providing input into policy consultations at national, regional and local level. Securing public funding, developing projects and managing programmes and campaigns to support SMEs and micro businesses in the South West of England. Background in public relations, event management, training provision and marketing. Broad range of experience in public, private and non-profit sector. Adam Jones, Archaeology 2008 - CTO of Redington

Adam leads the technology division of Redington, A leading investment consultancy who develop ADA, a powerful and easy to use technology platform which supercharges the impact of investment professionals and their teams use. He has been working in fintech for a decade for a wide range of companies from some of the largest banks in the world to disruptive and innovative start-ups. He joined Redington as CTO in 2017 to spearhead their next generation of technology tools and build out their SaaS business. Prior to joining Redington, he was Head of Innovation for Altus Consulting where his areas of focus were Fintech, Wealth and investment Management and the impact of Artificial Intelligence and emergent technologies. Adam is a passionate advocate of the need to increase financial empowerment and inclusion and is a keen supporter of Redington’s aim to make 100m people financially secure. He is also an advocate of diversity in technology and has supported a material improvement to Redington’s diversity in technology. In addition to his role as CTO of Redington he is a Trustee of RedSTART, a visiting lecturer at Henley Business School, an adviser to the department of Accounting, Economics and Finance at UWE and is actively involved in a range of industry initiatives and working groups.
