Surviving and Thriving in Challenging Circumstances

This webinar will focus on how to face challenging circumstances of all kinds and not only survive them but also thrive.

Event details

2020 has been a much more challenging year than any of us could possibly have anticipated.  The global Covid-19 pandemic and the accompanying lockdown in the UK have been challenging for so many, with worries about health, the health of loved ones, working from home, furlough, and of course the challenge of home schooling that so many had to rise to over the end of the spring and summer terms.  And now the economy poses further challenges, whether youre an employee, employer, business owner, entrepreneur or at the beginning of your career and looking for your first role.

This webinar will focus on how to face challenging circumstances of all kinds and not only survive them but also thrive.  Both our panel members have faced challenging circumstances and overcome them in a positive way and both have also undertaken academic research into how individuals react in such circumstances, both from a personal and a neurological standpoint.

We also want you to get involved. Pose your questions throughout the live event or submit them in advance via alumni@exeter.ac.uk.
