About this event:

This event brings together Exeter alumni business professionals in Hong Kong with students for a dialogue exploring popular and current employability topics.  

The session will kick off with an ice breaker (we all have Exeter in common!), we will then explore some of the current challenges in the workplace due to Coronavirus for employees and job seekers with adaption/coping strategies, followed by networking and job-hunting myths and tips, and then open up for your questions to the alumni panel.

Alumni speakers:

  • Sue Kendall (Geography, 1980), recently retired former Partner at Baker & McKenzie in Hong Kong. Sue is a committee member of the Exeter Hong Kong Alumni Group.
  • Stephen Phillips (Chemistry & Law 1985), Director General at Invest HK, Government of Hong Kong SAR.
  • Carman Lau (BA Business & Management 2008), Head of Talent Acquisition at Jardine Matheson. Carman is a committee member of the Exeter Hong Kong Alumni Group.
