Connecting with Industry is a certificated, interactive on-line programme that equips participants with the tools, skills and confidence required to work more effectively with or in industry. It provides a working knowledge of key business issues that impact commercial organisations, which is valuable whether you plan to pursue a career in industry or collaborate with industry as part of a career in academic research.

Conversations with Industry is a series of facilitated group discussions with professionals experienced working in, or with industry in a variety of different roles. The “Conversations” are live and interactive with diverse guests who provide context, inspiration and real-world stories that bring key learnings to life. The “Conversations” also offer the opportunity for participants to expand their network and build relationships with key industry contacts.

The optional mentor coaching session following the training will offer participants one-to-one guidance immediately relevant to their personal situation. This helps build momentum in a
specific area, whether it’s exploring career options, starting a business, commercialising
