Information
Does your work involve you physically, electronically or verbally taking or sending materials, samples, equipment, components, software or technology (e.g. research results, data, designs or other related know-how) outside the UK?
The trend towards increased international research collaboration and on-line teaching requires researchers and universities to be increasingly vigilant as to when export control (EC) law applies.
Individual staff and students have a legal obligation to comply with any sanctions applicable to overseas partners and to consider whether they may need a licence to export or transfer items or technology.
You are invited to join a webinar presented by Richard from Richard Tauwhare Consulting Ltd on Thursday 10th June from 10-12am.
Richard will deliver a presentation on the implications for researchers and their teams and an overview of the UK’s export control law and how it applies to Universities.
You are invited to send in your questions before the webinar.
Please forward to anyone you think might be interested.
