Exploration of the Social Participation of Primary Age School Children Identified as having ASD in China
This case study research explores the social participation of primary aged mainstream school children identified as having ASD or considered by their teachers as having ASD characteristics through an ICF-CY-type assessment. The study was conducted in 2019 in 4 mainstream primary schools in Beijing, China, and I invited 6 children identified as having ASD as well as their peers and teachers as participants. In this presentation, I will present some of my findings from my PhD research.
