What’s in a definition?

You are invited to join our first collaborative event in conjunction with the Success & Inclusive Education Working Group and Race Equality Group Self-Assessment Team as we discuss definitions of terms related to Racial Equality and Inclusion. There is truly exceptional work being done by colleagues related to Inclusive Education and Decolonising the Curriculum and as we move towards developing an Institutional Framework to support this activity, now is an important time to collectively consider what are the key elements that need to be included in a working Institutional definition- or definitions. There will also be updates from Vrinda Nayak (Associate Academic Dean for Students (Racial Equality and Inclusion)) on the development of the frameworks as well as Tina Verhaeghe and Caitlin Kight feeding back on the findings of the staff survey on Decolonising the Curriculum.
