Education for Sustainable Healthcare

This seminar will be delivered via Zoom

We are experiencing global changes affecting our own wellbeing and the health of our patients. This talk on the theme of Education for Sustainable Healthcare (ESH) shows how Planetary Health is a critical requirement in the learning of the rising generation of health professionals, and how faculty members can engage with this rapidly evolving paradigm.

Event details

Whether College leaders, academics, healthcare providers or clinicians involved in programme delivery, there is a wealth of available guidance, learning opportunities and resources that enable educators to address solutions to the ecosytem crisis in our teaching. As healthcare itself has a significant environmental impact, our learners are also increasingly demanding to learn how to practice sustainable healthcare from their education. This event will consist of a 40 min talk followed by a 20 mins Q&A, and highlight that what we can do both individually and collectively for planetary health and sustainable healthcare, is good medical practice.
