Event details
Scarborough, North Yorkshire 1992. Meet Little Voice and Mari Hoff, a mother and daughter central to the heart of this Northern fairy-tale. When Mari starts dating small-time club owner Ray Say, Little Voice’s astonishing impersonations of Shirley Bassey, Marilyn Monroe, Judy Garland and others are thrust in to the spotlight. Transformed and sensational, Little Voice might be Ray’s one and only chance to hit the big time … but what will the consequences be for mother and daughter?
This timeless and iconic tale explores the highs and lows of small-town dreams, family rivalry and finding your voice in a noisy world. With humour, heart and countless powerhouse ballads, this life-affirming production will rouse even the weariest of souls.
This event is also a chance to socialise and network with alumnae (female graduates) in the South West with a pre-show drinks and canapes gathering.
