Event details
The Exeter Hong Kong Alumni Group (EHKAG) are keen to host employability events focusing on different careers and industries. At our first session, we will hear from a Graduate Recruitment Manager at Magic Circle law firm Allen & Overy and the careers team at University of Exeter on how to get into the Law and Financial Services sectors. We will also receive insights from our Hong Kong-alumni committee member and retired lawyer, Susan Kendall, who has many years’ experience as the graduate recruitment partner for Hong Kong at global law firm Baker & McKenzie. We will also hear from Jenny in the careers team at University of Exeter.
• This session will give you both the in-campus perspective on how to help facilitate the transition from campus to work life as well as the perspective from the employers.
• In addition, our speaker from Allen & Overy has extensive experience in campus recruitment with major global banks and can give insights into what banks generally are seeking in each round of graduate intakes.
We welcome current students, recent graduates, and alumni from Hong Kong along to this event.
