Publishing in Academy of Management Annals

Management seminar - Professor Matthew A. Cronin (Professor of Management at George Mason University)

Event details

Editor talk

Abstract:

With an impact factor of 19.24 (five-year IF 27.26), the Academy of Management Annals (Annals) has quickly taken the top spot of journals in the management as well as business category. The Annals mission is to publish up-to-date, in-depth and integrative reviews of research advances in management. Often called "reviews with an attitude," Annals papers summarize and/or challenge established assumptions and concepts, pinpoint problems and factual errors, inspire discussions, and illuminate possible avenues for further study. Reviews published in Annals move above and beyond descriptions of the field–they motivate conceptual integration and set agendas for future research (https://aom.org/research/journals/annals). Matt will talk about how to publish in the Annals, including an open Q&A session.
