Event details

The day will include a seminar themed around “Modelling in Mental Health”, and a workshop titled “An Interactive Introduction to Patient-Centred Modelling – Agent Based Simulation”.

Prof David Richards (University of Exeter Medical School) and Dr Christos Vasilakis (University of Bath) will host the seminar, and talk about their wealth of experience applying modelling in the domain of mental health.

Dr Daniel Chalk (PenCHORD) will run the afternoon workshop session, which is open to all, with no prior knowledge of modelling or simulation necessary.

The PenCHORD Seminar, Showcase and Workshop series is open to both academics and those working in the health and social care services, and offers an excellent opportunity to learn about some examples of impactful modelling and simulation projects in health and social care, to develop an awareness of various Operational Research techniques, and to find out more about the work of PenCHORD as the Operational Research team of PenCLAHRC.
