Marginal Perceptions: Queer Voices In and Beyond Conventional Disciplines

Inaugural conference aiming to encourage lively discourse on queer studies.

This inaugural conference will be held at the innovative Penryn Campus in Cornwall, on the 7th of March. The first of its kind in the Southwest, the conference will bring together students for a day of presentations, debate and lively discussion on queer studies to encourage discourse between established academics and scholars at an early, developmental stage of their academic careers.

Event details

This conference will be of particular interest to students who aspire to become professional academics, but welcomes undergraduate, MA, and PhD students with an interest in queer studies. Whilst formal papers are the anticipated focus of the event, works in other media, including photographic or picture-based artwork, short films, presentations, or creative writing will also be considered.
