ESRC Impact Acceleration Account

Application deadline and surgery sessions

Event details

Who should attend?

All researchers interested in applying to the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account are welcome to attend this event.

What is the event about?

The next deadline for applications for funds from the Impact Cultivation and Social Policy Network streams of the ESRC Impact Acceleration Account (IAA) is 31 May.

IAA funding is intended to support academic involvement in a wide range of projects and relationships with businesses and community-based and cultural organisations, enhancing the impact of social sciences research.

There are two further funding streams within the IAA:

  1. Knowledge Exchange Fellowships
  2. Project Co-creation.

The next deadline for these, and for the autumn round of funding for the smaller streams, will be 30 September. There is further information about the IAA on the research toolkit and we would encourage you to take a look at these funding opportunities and guidelines

Members of the IAA team will be on hand to provide information about the scheme, including criteria and eligibility, and to discuss your ideas at the following drop-in surgeries (no need to register):

  • Streatham campus:  Tuesday 5 May, 12pm – 2pm, Amory 239AB
  • St Luke’s campus: Wednesday 6 May, 12am – 1pm, Baring Court 129

Please do come along to a surgery for a chat.

Contact us to discuss your project proposal at ESRC-IAA@exeter.ac.uk, or call Kerry Dungay, ESRC IAA Co-ordinator, on 01392 722668

Colleagues on our Cornwall campuses are requested to contact us by phone or email; if you require a face-to-face discussion we will arrange to Skype with you.

Baring Court 129
