About the event
This colourful and interactive exhibition of artworks explores the different facets of the Devon County Mental Hospital (DCMH) by placing it firmly within the context of everyday life and society.
It brings together a wide range of experiences and memories of staff, patients and patients’ relatives, giving you an insight not only into daily hospital routines, but also into how people experienced and used the hospital space.
Memories will be presented in audio-visual forms and actors representing patients and staff from different eras of the hospital will be present to answer visitors’ questions.
