40 years of Clinical Psychology training at the University of Exeter
As part of our Diamond Jubilee celebration, this year we also mark 40 years of Clinical Psychology training at the University of Exeter. The event is recommended for anyone working in, or with an interest in the field of Clinical Psychology who like to share in the celebration of the subject’s history and in the vision for the future. Keynote speakers at the event will share their perspectives on both the history and future direction of clinical psychology training. Speakers include: Professor Peter Kinderman, President Elect of the British Psychological Society, Professor Tony Lavender, Pro-Vice Chancellor of Canterbury Christ Church University, Dr Geraldine Strathdee, NHSE National Clinical Director for Mental Health, and Mr Richard Pemberton, Chair of the Division of Clinical Psychology, BPS. This will be an interactive event with displays from trainees, ex-trainees, academic colleagues, the Lived Experience Group and other key stakeholders. The event will close with an early evening drinks reception. Tickets are free, but attendees will need to register to attend.
