Event details

Who should attend?

All researchers with an interest in funding from Research for Patient Benefit are welcome to attend this event (including University and NHS staff).

What is the event about?

Research for Patient Benefit (RfPB) is a national, response-mode programme inspired by patients and practice to generate high quality research for the benefit of users of the NHS in England. Its main purpose is to realise, through evidence, the huge potential for improving, expanding and strengthening the way that healthcare is delivered for patients, the public and the NHS.

RfPB is co-ordinated at a national level as part of the NIHR.

The Medical School is hosting this event which will include representatives from the RfPB scheme, and other organisations who are required as part of the bid process.

The scheme is currently undergoing changes to encourage more applications. During this event you will be able to find out what funding is available and how to apply.
