Being Human Festival: Wonder & Dread: Slavic Tales of Foreign Lands and Wild People

Local, national and international artists will gather in Exeter to conjure an afternoon of storytelling and performance.

The gypsies of Romania, the magical shapeshifting underground inhabitants of Russia, the crying dolls of Poland, and the sausages of Transylvania provide the fodder for “Wonder & Dread: Slavic Tales of Foreign Lands and Wild People”. Exploring themes of migration, knowledge, technology and wildness, tales will be told, songs will be sung, and journeys will be made.
