Event details

What is the conference about?

This event will display the diverse research topics currently being explored at the Graduate School of Education (GSE) at the University of Exeter, bringing together postgraduate students, new researchers, academics and leading practitioners.

Deadline extended

The deadline for submissions to the GSE conference 2017 has now been extended to Wednesday 1 March.

Come along to...

  • Share research interests within a climate of open inquiry
  • Join in lively exchange and critical debate
  • Disseminate your research and receive helpful feedback
  • Be an active part of our GSE research community
  • and Enjoy the wonderful international culture of our School!

Who should attend?

Students and academics at GSE, or in Education departments at one of the G4 Universities (Bath, Bristol, Cardiff).

Please see our Call for Papers if you would like to present a paper at the conference or to enter our Poster Competition!

Not yet a postgraduate student?

We warmly welcome current or prospective students from outside of the Graduate School of Education and University of Exeter to attend (not present at) this event. In recent years many prospective students (for EdD, PhD, Med and MSc programmes) have found this a useful ‘taster day’ event, offering an insight into the programmes, course expectations and activities, as well as the wider research practice and culture in the School of Education.

Schools and colleges

Come and listen to talks on current educational current research, network with professionals from other schools, universities and partner organisations, and contribute to your CPD.

Exeter Working Papers

A new journal highlighting the best of educational research by current and recently graduated students of the Exeter Graduate School of Education, will also be launched at the GSE Conference 2017!

If you are presenting a paper, why not also get your research published in the next issue?
