American Poet Laureate 2012-14, is coming to the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus
Natasha Trethewey, American Poet Laureate 2012-14, is coming to the University of Exeter, Penryn Campus on Thursday 9th March 2017. She will be giving a lecture entitled 'You Are Not Safe in History: On Abiding Metaphors and Finding a Calling' in the Peter Lanyon building, Lecture Theatre 5 Her poetry has won the Pulitzer Prize (2007) and she currently directs the Creative Writing Program at Emory University. The lecture will be followed by a Q&A session and a wine reception. Students and general public welcome.
