Penryn BioBlitz and Garden Fete 2017!
Come and join us for some summer garden fun and a brand new Bioblitz!
This year we’ve teamed up with our very own Penryn Garden Fete to bring you a day of not only wildlife spotting but summer games, fayre stalls and interactive activities so there’s plenty for everyone! This FREE event is open to all ages and is brilliant for families.

Event details
Drop in and see us on the 6th May between 10am-4pm for some amazing activities including:
Spider spotting, pond dipping, moth trapping, bug hunting, mammal trapping, plant spotting and bat walks and garden games.
This is the sixth annual BioBlitz and following the success of the previous events, this year’s is set to be spectacular! Enjoy our raffle with amazing prizes, make your own wildlife with our arts and craft stalls, get competitive in our summer games, get your face painted, and have a jump on the bouncy castle!
Wildlife and charity organisations from all over Cornwall will be joining us with loads of exciting stalls, activities and opportunities for you to get involved in. Food and drink will be available to buy from a range of local suppliers, our garden BBQ and in the shop or café on campus.
To sign up for early morning or late evening events such as bird ringing (7:30-9:30) and bat walks (20:00-22:00), please email bioblitz.penryn@gmail.com in advance to register. Please note that children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian to attend these events, and the event will also be filmed by the University throughout the day.
