EUC Talk 'Railway Resilience' with Richard Westlake at the Royal Oak, Exeter

We are very fortunate that Richard, who is an EUC member, has had vast experience working with the railways in the South West; Richard’s career there spans more than 40 years.

Event details

The sort of questions he will address in his talk are:

- Is the south west rail network fit for the 21st century?
- Can we be sure that rail resilience projects like the Dawlish sea wall and
- Cowley Bridge Junction will go ahead?
- Do we need a diversionary route to Plymouth via Okehampton?
- Will rail investment in the South West keep pace with the demand for rail travel?
