Come and join the Open Research at Exeter team for a special screening of Paywall: the business of scholarship on Thursday 17 January.

The documentary focuses on the need for open access to research and science, questions the profit behind academic publishing, and looks at how that profit margin is often greater than some of the most profitable tech companies like Apple, Facebook and Google.

Alongside this special screening attendees will find out more about Open Research at Exeter, and what exciting changes have taken place recently.

Professor Sabina Leonelli will chair the event and introduce the film, before answering questions about Open Research at Exeter.
