Exeter University Club: Lunch at Bickleigh Mill

Bickleigh Mill was built in the late 18th century and was milling corn until the devastating floods of the 1960s.

Event details

Corn from surrounding farms was raised into the corn loft and then ground. The mill workings and water wheel are still on display.

The Bistro Restaurant and Bar is located in the Old Mill House, with views of the waterside gardens and the mill wheel itself. Nearby, there are a great variety of shops over three floors. There are also some riverside walks nearby.

Meet: from 12 noon for 12.30 lunch.

Directions

By car: Coming from Exeter, Bickleigh Mill is on the right hand side, just before the bridge. There is plenty of parking space nearby.

By bus: The 55 and 155 buses from Exeter pass close to Bickleigh Mill. These buses leave from the bus stop in Paris Street, not from the bus station.
