Event details

Whatever your motivation or interests, we would like to invite you to join us for an informal PhD Open Evening - hosted by the College of Humanities and the College of Social Sciences and International Studies at the University of Exeter.

We offer PhDs in a broad range of subject areas: Politics, English, Sociology, Education, History, Archaeology, International Relations and Drama (to name just a few). If you are interested in a particular area just let us know when you book.

With a variety of full and part-time study options, including 'practice based' PhDs, a PhD can fit in with a broad range of lifestyles and commitments.

Programme

6pm - 6.30pm - arrival, light buffet, refreshments and informal conversation

6.30pm - 7.00pm - demystifying the PhD - presentation and Q & A

7.00pm - 8.00pm - optional tours and sessions: Digital Humanities LabInstitute of Arab and Islamic StudiesSpecial CollectionsBill Douglas Cinema MuseumArchaeology (Laver Building); Drama (Thornlea) OR stay at Reed Hall for one-to-one conversation with current students, recent graduates and academic staff
