Event information
Laura Coryton, founder of the Stop Taxing Periods campaign, will be delivering a presentation where she will share her experience of running a successful petition and working with Government and Members of the European Parliament.
She will also cover:
- Tampon Tax both in the UK and across the world
- Why taxation is a global feminist issue
- How the internet and social media has changed the face of campaigning and amplified previously unheard voices
- Period Poverty and the Government’s first period poverty task force
Refreshments and a networking buffet lunch will be provided at this event.
