Experiential Learning Day at Oxen Park Farm

The day will be a hands-on exploration of experiential learning and outdoor education, with a view to discover how such approaches might help to foster sustainable behaviours, responsible citizenship, and a closer connection with the natural world. The day will offer participants opportunities to try out a range of activities while learning about education and social science research in a relaxed, fun, and beautiful setting.
Tea and coffee will be available at 10:30am for a 11:00am prompt start, to finish at 5pm. There is also an invitation for participants to stay into the evening when we will light the pizza oven and have a bonfire.
The event is family friendly and free to attend. Lunch and snacks are included.
Please note that part of the day will include an optional short walk up a very steep hill.
