Opening of Application Window
Applications for the Pre University Summer School are now closed while we prepare our 2023 programme.
My experience was truly amazing. I was able to meet new people, know more about university itself and various details regarding the application process and how to choose courses.

Pre University Summer School
Welcome to the Pre University Summer School at the University of Exeter
Sunday 24th July > Sunday 7th August 2022
We've been running a programme for students interested or preparing to go to university since 2016 and this has now increased in size more than four times! We are delighted to look at running our 5th on campus event in summer 2022, following our highly successful online programme during Covid-19 restrictions in 2021. We are also currently exploring the idea of running a virtual Pre University Summer School alongside our on campus programme so please Register Your Interest in the online programme using the form here.
Our Pre University Summer School looks to bring motivated students from all over the world together for an exciting two week programme which gives each student the opportunity to learn more about university, different subjects, different cultures and themselves.
The main objectives of the programmes are described below:
- Gain valuable experience and insight into different study options in Higher Education
- Learn from students and academic staff about the skills needed to succeed in HE and post education
- Interact with students from all over the world to form strong friendship bonds and even networking for the future
- Learn more about the application cycle for Higher Education in the UK
- Challenge yourselves to take on a global issue and work in a team to find a potential solution to a real world situation
- Explore new places and new skills with people from all over the world while having fun trying your hand at something
- Most importantly, personal growth by learning from other cultures and perspectives on every day situations and study topics
The absolute key principle to our entire programme is that everyone has fun and leaves the programme feeling a real sense of accomplishment and growth.
