Dr Rachel Hogden (She/Her)

About me:

I am Head of Postgraduate Research (PGR) Support at the University of Exeter and manage the teams that provide support to our Research students from the point they enrol until they graduate. This includes the PGR Support Team, the PGR Administration Team and PGR Quality Development Team. I also take the lead on Collaborative PGR Programmes with our international partners, and on the introduction of new systems and processes that impact PGR students. 

I have worked at the University since 2010 and have a broad range of experience in Higher Education, for example I have been both the Education and Research Business Partner for the College of Humanities, and have previously been responsible for diverse areas such as Employability, Study Abroad and External Relations. I am passionate about the student experience and believe in the importannce of delivering an excellent customer service. With a background as an Employment Coach before entering Higher Education, I also believe in the importance of team development and enjoy supporting others to reach their career goals.
