Brain Awareness Week 12 – 18 March 2018

Brain Awareness Week (BAW) is an annual, global campaign which aims to increase the public’s awareness of current brain research - highlighting the benefits and importance of it.

BAW is supported by the Dana foundation - a private philanthropic organisation. The Dana foundation is dedicated to advancing brain research and educating the public on prospective neuroscience research.

Brain Awareness Week is taking place from the 12 – 18 March 2018, and unites the efforts of partner organisations worldwide in a celebration of the brain for people of all ages.

Having been awarded funding from the British Neuroscience Association, the University of Exeter BAW will host a range of workshops and events on brain-related topics. These are meant to bring to the public’s attention the importance of neuroscience research, increase their understanding of the brain and educate them on current and potential research within the field.
