Dr Jemma Perks is a Medical Statistician and Clinical Reviewer for Health Technology Assessment agency Peninsula Technology Assessment Group (PenTAG) at the University of Exeter. PenTAG is one of 12 trusted External Assessment Groups for the National Institute of Health and Care Research (NICE) in the UK, providing expert advice on the clinical- and cost-effectiveness of new drugs and medical devices. PenTAG also supports the work of NICE's Medical Technologies Evaluation Programme and the Singapore Ministry of Health.
Dr Jemma Perks is also a member of the Vascular Research Group at the University of Exeter, on account of her expertise in the treatment of Peripheral Artery Disease, following her Ph.D in this area, and associated post-doctoral roles in cardiovascular health.
