Powering the future
One of humanity’s greatest challenges is how to use resources in a way that supports a prosperous society while at the same time ensuring that enough resources are available for future generations. ESI researchers are finding new ways of using resources more efficiently and sustainably, and with less damage to the environment and greater benefits to society. Our work spans clean technology development, bioremediation, waste reduction and methods of life cycle analysis to reduce environmental impact or harm.
