Devon will host the prestigious Pitch@Palace event on Monday February 18, 2019 - to help make business dreams become a reality.

Entrepreneurs and start-ups invited to make their dreams a reality at Pitch@Palace 11.0 On Tour Devon

Entrepreneurs and business start-ups are being invited to apply for Pitch@Palace 11.0 On Tour Devon – in Exeter on Monday February 18, 2019 - to help make their business dreams become a reality.

The Event will be hosted by Exeter College in partnership with the University of Exeter, on behalf of SETsquared Exeter, part of SETsquared, the award-winning business incubation network run by five leading research-led UK universities. Twice ranked as the Global No. 1 Business Incubator.

Pitch@Palace is an initiative founded by The Duke of York, to amplify and accelerate the work of Entrepreneurs. Its aim is to guide, help and connect Entrepreneurs and early-stage businesses with potential supporters, including CEOs, Influencers, Angels, Mentors and Business Partners.

Time is now running out for Entrepreneurs to apply to take part in Pitch@Palace 11.0 On Tour Devon, which is the final On Tour Event for Pitch@Palace 11.0.

Speaking of the opportunity to support the upcoming Pitch@Palace Event, Sean Fielding, Director of Innovation, Impact and Business at the University of Exeter said: “We are delighted to welcome His Royal Highness to Exeter and to have the opportunity to collaborate with Exeter College on such a prestigious event.  The University is committed to fostering entrepreneurship and building an entrepreneurial community in our region.”

Pitch@Palace On Tour Events provide Entrepreneurs with the opportunity to learn about the programme, make their initial Pitch, connect with local stakeholders and begin to receive Mentoring to develop their business.

Up to three entrepreneurs from Pitch@Palace On Tour Devon will be selected by a panel of Judges to progress to Pitch@Palace 11.0 Boot Camp in London In May and Pitch@Palace 11.0 at St James’s Palace. Those not selected will still be considered by the Judges to make up the remaining places at Boot Camp.  

Since it launched, Pitch@Palace has helped 785 Entrepreneurs to create 3,669 new jobs and generate over £890 million of new economic activity.
