Exeter startups invited to join award winning programme at Exeter Science Park

Exeter technology startups are invited to join an award winning Entrepreneurs’ Programme at Exeter Science Park next month, delivered on behalf of SETsquared, the global number one university business incubator.

The two day programme, to be held at Exeter Science Park from 27-28 June 2019 aims to boost small businesses in the South West and includes a unique package of entrepreneurship training, bespoke business support and the potential for grow-on space. Run alongside Spacetech, the course is open to anyone wishing to grow and develop a technology business idea, but there will also be the opportunity for businesses utilising space technology or satellite data to further progress their idea including access to grant support.

This fully-funded programme focuses on the essential elements of starting a business such as getting to problem/solution fit, identifying the market opportunity and mapping out customers.

It will arm participants with an executive summary, a pitch deck, a business model and a basic financial plan. Hands-on and interactive, this programme is delivered in partnership with the UK Space Agency.

From environmental monitoring, agriculture and farming through to oil and gas, tourism and emergency services planning – the use of satellite data is transforming many industries.

You may not think of yourself as space tech company but if you are developing a new product or service which uses any kind of satellite data, 5G, GPS, radar, earth observation and tracking or launch technologies then this programme is for you.

Applications are now open, please complete this application form and forward any queries to spacetech@exeter.ac.uk.  The extended deadline for applications is 10 June 2019.
