Research and Impact Manager (Impact Performance)

Role

Claire supports research impact at Exeter, both in relation to the specific requirements of REF (Research Excellence Framework) exercises, and in the broader context of the academic research environment. She works with individual academics, departments and Colleges across the institution to help maximise and evaluate the impact of research. Her role includes delivering training on different aspects of impact and developing systems to capture impact data.

Profile

Claire joined the University in 2008 as Communications Officer for the Egenis research centre, then becoming Research Manager (impact and engagement) for the College of Social Sciences and International Studies. Her background is in journalism, editing and press office work.
