Research and Impact Manager (Impact Performance)

Role

Louise supports research impact at Exeter, both in relation to the specific requirements of REF (Research Excellence Framework) exercises, and in the broader context of the academic research environment. Specifically, Louise works with individual academics, departments and Colleges across the institution to help maximise and evaluate the impact of research. Her role includes delivering training on different aspects of impact, developing systems to capture impact data, and supporting the development of impact project plans.

Profile

Since completing a Human Geography PhD at the University of Exeter on the ethics and governing of charitable giving, Louise has worked in a number of research, lecturing and support roles in higher education.

Most recently she has worked at Keele University, supporting research impact activities and developing impact case studies for the REF 2014.
