Career

During his BSc, Linus focused on computing in the context of scientific research, completing his thesis on the automated segmentation of non-small cell lung tumours in PET scans using component trees and random-forest machine learning.

Linus started at the University of Exeter working as a researcher on the GEMINI project, which aims to use genetics to uncover new links between long term health conditions.

Now, as part of the Research Software Engineering Group, Linus has worked on a variety of projects, including the Cornwall FLOW Accelerator, and Bluebird - AI Air Traffic Control, both of which you can read more about here.
