Rebecca works in the impact team for the South West Partnership for Environmental and Economic Prosperity (SWEEP) supporting the creation, capture and evaluation of the University's delivery of impact from the SWEEP Programme. Funded by NERC, SWEEP aims to deliver economic and community benefits whilst also protecting and enhancing the South West's natural resources https://sweep.ac.uk/
Prior to this, Rebecca managed the GW4 Building Communities Programme at Exeter University, developing and supporting GW4 multi-disciplinary research communties.

Rebecca joined Exeter University in 2014. Her career began in the emerging field of forest certification where she was responsible for chain of custody audits and training. Over the next 20 years, Rebecca has held numerous project manager roles in the environmental and health fields and across the charitable, private and public sectors. Before joining the University, Rebecca worked for the National Lottery Board delivering their support for Health Living Centres. She has worked extensively in Africa as well as the UK and has sat as a magistrate in Exeter's North and East Devon Bench since 2010.
