Putting students’ mental wellbeing on the agenda

Professor Anna Mountford-Zimdars has contributed to an article in University World News.

Universities that are currently preparing for the safe return of students to campuses against the backdrop of the COVID-19 pandemic cannot neglect the psychosocial support that will be needed by students and staff, 

Anna Mountford-Zimdars, who is a member of the Rapid Response Survey on School Closure project, said innovative practice targeting particular vulnerable students during the pandemic was an opportunity to make lasting, often low-cost changes to student support that will also be of benefit when universities resume blended or on-campus learning.
